A voice behind the wall says clearly,

Do you enjoy this life so dearly?

The question lurks deep in your mind,

The answer there you will not find.

You stop and realise where you are,

Nowhere new and nowhere far.

Though why does this feel so distant,

Days go by but are not consistent.

Then you notice the breeze blow by,

There are trees around you and even a sky.

Outside your mind time flows consistently,

Inside your mind you think impatiently.

You then recall there was no wall,

No voice, no question, here at all.

The life around you fills the void,

Leaving you less paranoid.
