As Twitter burns to the ground and has burnt my ties to it, I’ve found myself for most of 2023 wishing I had something of which to throw my inner thoughts out and into the world. Log my thoughts on live events, post my shower thoughts, share things I like. So maybe with this post, I can try and make more of these. Mini-blogs with no real context or planning. Just a stream of consciousness to a post.
I would use Mastodon or Bluesky for this, but neither feel like “home” like Twitter did — and at this point the sense of community and camaraderie is lost to the aether until people finally ditch Twitter and convene elsewhere.
So here’s to a new chapter.
