Aside from Alan Wake 2 taking some awards that other games deserved so much more, it was a good time. Could have let people speak longer, but at least the best part of 2022’s show returned: Flute Guy. Pedro Eustache is an amazing flutist, I’ll never forget how hard he went off for Xenoblade 3.
BG3 won the minimum it deserved. A good game I won’t ever play myself, probably. I’m not all that into media that’s overwhelmingly popular most of the time, for whatever reason. It’s more nuanced than that, though. Maybe I’ll gather up those words in another post.
